Mayan Relic in one of thee relics which when combined, lead to the Montezuma's Treasure. It is made of jade.
History[]
The relic was in Cozumel between 1519-1524. It was moved to Mayan lowlands in 1524, but in 1525 it was handed to Malinche who was en route to Honduras, there she delivered the relic to the Kesache Daughters who protected it almost a century. In 1622 it moved to Tabasco. It is said that in 1626 the relic moved to current United States territory, but after that no records can be found.[1]
The Mayan relic was found in 2007 in Cíbola when Benjamin Franklin Gates rediscovered the hidden city. Peter Sadusky knew it lead to the Montezuma's Treasure and gave it to his son Jack Sadusky. Two days later Jack died in a diving accident.[2]
In 2022, Billie Pearce reveals that she has the relic, and now knowing it to be a puzzle box lets Nate open it. Inside was a partial map, which when combined with Aztec Relic and Incan Relic would reveal the location of the Montezuma's Treasure[2].
When Billie and Jess Valenzuela work together to track down the third relic they think is in a well in Alamo, current day San Antonio, Jess manages to take back the Aztec and Mayan Relic.[3]
