Nichols is a supporting character in National Treasure: Book of Secrets.

Biography[]

Dr. Nichols is the curator of the Ford's Theatre museum. In 2007 he was presented a missing John Wilkes Booth Diary page by Mitch Wilkinson during the Thomas Gates presentation. After the public had left, Nichols matched the page to the diary, and the rip matched, indicating the page to be true, although Dr. Nichols said they will run every test to be sure.[1]

Short time later Dr. Nichols had organized a press conference to reveal the find of of the missing page and naming Thomas Gates as a co-conspirator in Abraham Lincoln's murder.[1]

Dr. Nichols however was working with Mitch Wilkinson. But he appeared to be regretting that as that was not what he signed on for. When Mitch had obtained the first Wood Carving he had Nichols inspect it. He confirmed it to be pre-Columbian and only partial writing.[1]

Peter Sadusky is later seen in his home on a crime scene.[1]
