Dr. Torres is a character in National Treasure: Edge of History.
Biography[]
Dr. Torres is a historian working in the University of Mexico City in Mexico City.
Torres was first contacted by Jess Valenzuela who theorized that Malinche had taught herself to write and possible written some journals. Dr. Torres dismissed her theory almost immediately.[1]
Dr. Torres was later approached by Billie Pearce who claimed to be in possession of Hernán Cortés' journal that had Malinche's writing in it. Dr. Torres proved the journal to be a fake one as the handwriting didn't match with Cortés' writing style.[2]
